Christian Brothers World Wide ministry mapping project
This is an initiative of the Congregation Leadership Team which is being carried and designed by Brothers Steve McLaughlin and Bob Chambers in Brisbane.

Purpose

The purpose of the project is to map Christian Brother ministries worldwide so that this information is available for promotional and research purposes of the Congregation of the Christian Brothers.

The project was initiated by the Congregational Leader in mid 2005. Whilst all Christian Brother Provinces throughout the world have documented their ministries in some manner, there is no collective picture of ministries from a world perspective. It is expected that this information would be of some assistance to Brother Donal Leader who is preparing a Congregational submission to the United Nations for non-government registration, as well as for promotional purposes to philanthropists throughout the world.

Outcomes

It is expected that the outcomes of the project will be a summary of all Christian Brother ministries in the world, stored in a manner that can be collated under Province, Region, Target Group and Function of Ministry via a database that can be interactive with the World Wide Web, if desired.
